# How to Edit an Image with Canva from the Asset Manager

This article walks you through editing an existing image in your Asset Manager using Canva.

> **Before you start:** Make sure you've connected your account to Canva. See [**Getting Started with Canva Integration in Evolved Office**](https://help.evolvedoffice.com/en/article/getting-started-with-canva-integration-in-evolved-office) for one-time setup steps.

### **Steps**

1.  Go to your **Media Library / Asset Manager**.

2.  Click the image you'd like to edit.
3.  Click the **Edit in Canva** button.

4.  The Canva editor will open with your image loaded. Use Canva's tools to make your edits — add text, logos, graphics, filters, etc.  
    
5.  When you're finished, click the **Evolved Office** icon at the bottom of the left-hand navigation in Canva.
6.  Click **Save**.

7.  Choose whether to:
8.  -   **Save as a copy** — check this box to keep your original image untouched and create a new version, or
    -   **Overwrite original** — leave the box unchecked to replace the existing image with your edits.

9.  You'll see a publish confirmation. Your updated image will now appear in the Asset Manager.

-   Works with both free and paid Canva accounts. A few advanced photo tools (like background remover) require a paid plan.
